English Language Development (ELD) Managing Coordinator

Primary location: Center for Schools and Communities, Camp Hill, Pa.
Salary range: $58,000 $64,000 (exempt salaried)

The Centers for Schools and Communities (CSC), a statewide education, training and technical assistance organization, is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time position as an English language development managing coordinator. The CSC, located in Camp Hill, Pa., is a division of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) and participates in the PA School Employees Retirement System.

The primary responsibility for this position is the provision of technical assistance and training to content teachers, administrators or English as a Second Language (ESL) coordinators and/or ESL teachers of local school districts, charter schools and career technical centers (CTCs), with primary focus on priority schools as designated by Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). Additional job responsibilities will be guided by the deliverables outlined in the CSIU/PDE ESL contract workplan.

Program and Systems Development Manager

Primary location: Center for Schools and Communities, Camp Hill, Pa.
Salary range: $65,000 – $70,000 (exempt – salaried)

The Centers for Schools and Communities (CSC), a statewide education, training and technical assistance organization, is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time position as a program and systems development manager. CSC, located in Camp Hill, Pa., is a division of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit and participates in the PA School Employees Retirement System.

The primary responsibility for this position is to support the CSC director in the provision of leadership, management, strategic growth and development of the Center. As well as, planning, development and implementation of statewide projects related to but not limited to the Pennsylvania Direct Certification Program, Statewide Adoption Network, and special projects and initiatives as need dictates. This includes oversight and monitoring of daily operations and supervision of assigned program managers. The program and systems development manager will also serve as the primary contact person with the appropriate state, federal and private funding partners in terms of contract negotiation, administrative meetings, concept development and program implementation. Program responsibilities include the provision of training, technical assistance and evaluation that are coordinated with and approved by the Departments of Education, Health and Human Services.

Family Support Technical Assistance Coordinator

CSC, located in Camp Hill, Pa., is a division of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit and participates in the PA School Employees Retirement System.

The family support technical assistance coordinator has primary responsibility for the development and implementation of technical assistance and training to support statewide family strengthening and parent engagement projects. This position will have responsibility for working at the state, county and community level to assist child and family serving organizations in the successful development and implementation of statewide initiatives related to early childhood, family support and prevention of child abuse and neglect.

The Center for Schools and Communities (CSC), a statewide education, training and technical assistance organization, is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time position as a family support technical specialist. CSC, located in Camp Hill, Pa., is a division of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit and participates in the PA School Employees Retirement System.

The family support technical specialist has primary responsibility for the support of Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) and Strengthening Families (SF) programs. Primary responsibilities include: data collection and reporting with CTF and SF work. Additional responsibilities include assisting staff in coordinating statewide and regional meetings, conferences and workshops.
